About Me

I am an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist for over 20 years, and have been in private practice since 2014 in Lexington, MA. I have worked in public and private schools as well as a private clinic with school-age children and adults.

My background includes helping people with difficulties in articulation, language learning, executive functioning, social skills, dyslexia, and auditory processing. Since starting my own practice, I have also been working with people to improve their non-accented American English accent and interviewing skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, reading, traveling, and dancing. I am active in educating and implementing community environmental policy.

Why Choose Me?

As a certified speech-language pathologist, I have extensive training and practice in the anatomy, production, and execution of speech. I not only know how we produce speech, but understand that American English speech includes grammar, syntax, intonation, vocabulary and social components.

My Approach

When I worked in schools and clinics, I taught clients in one-on-one, small group, and co-teaching environments with language arts and special education teachers and occupational therapists.

My private practice allows me the joy of having a more personal and individualized therapy approach. I specialize my therapy to the individual needs, learning styles, and interests of each client.

I believe that it is vital that my clients practice outside of therapy time. One cannot learn a new skill without a lot of practice.
